Tim Sleigh continues the Sleigh family connection with the Scottish automotive industry and motor sports. Tim’s grandfather, William Lowrie Sleigh co-founded Rossleigh LTD in 1889 – a name that, even now in the 21st century, is synonymous with quality car sales and servicing. Tim’s father, Tom Sleigh, competed in Circuit Racing against the likes of Jackie Stewart, before moving to Hill climbing: winning the Scottish Roadcar Championship in 1969.

Considering the automotive pedigree of the Sleigh family, it came as no surprise when Tim Sleigh, from an early age, demonstrated a particular interest in, and facility with, motor vehicles. Tim, having worked as a vehicle technician with some of the biggest automotive dealerships in Scotland, went on to become service manager with Roseisle Garage in Dalkeith, in 2002. In 2005 Tim purchased East Coast Garages and expanded the business in 2009, adding East Coast Cars to the group. Both garages enjoy an enviable reputation for providing quality services and client satisfaction.

Away from work, Tim enjoys motor sports; following on his competitive success on 2 wheels, in the Scottish 2008 Enduro Championship (runner-up), he has moved on to 4 wheels to compete in the Scottish XR2 Championship.
