profile of partner : CHRIS BENSON (PARTNER)

Chris Benson was born in Edinburgh and lived there from 1963 until 1989. From a young age he wanted to be involved in law, and in 1987 he gained a law degree and diploma in legal practice from Dundee University. Having worked successfully with a number of legal firms, Chris established himself in 2002 as a partner with leading Edinburgh law firm, Sturrock, Armstrong & Thomson. With over 20 years experience in all aspects of private client work, Chris stresses the fundamental importance of his relationship with clients:

 
“I am very traditional in my dealings with clients. We create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in our office and I consider myself to be approachable and down to earth. I particularly enjoy our type of work because of the variety and the regular client contact. Clients deal exclusively with me, at partner level, and can get advice on a broad range of issues under one roof.”

Chris lives in Dunfermline, Fife. He has three children and in his free time enjoys reading and walking.
