Charlotte started her career in the late 1980s. She both managed and worked in Edinburgh accountancy firms, gaining invaluable experience in nurturing sole traders and small businesses. In 1996, she joined Standard Life as a Financial Planning Consultant. Having qualified, Charlotte consistently maintained the highest referral rate from clients within the whole of Standard Life until she left to pursue a career as an Independent Financial Consultant.

Charlotte’s success lies in her thorough knowledge of the financial marketplace and in her unswerving client focus.

Charlotte is a Certified Financial Planning professional working with Athena Partnership and Athena Asset Management in Edinburgh. She is also a partner with Positive Solutions: the largest national IFA company in the United Kingdom.

Charlotte is married to David, and is mother to James and Alex.  She runs a small farm on the outskirts of Edinburgh and enjoys horse riding with her daughter Alex, watching her son play rugby for Watsons, and supporting her husband David's motor racing career.
